Logan Prewitt's Eagle Project
Donation protected
My name is Logan Prewitt, and I'm a Life Scout from Troop 132 in Concord, Massachusetts. I've been in Boy Scouts since I was 11 years old, and am currently working towards earning the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest and most prestigious rank in Scouting. One of the final requirements needed to earn Eagle Scout is to plan, develop, and give leadership to others in a service project helpful to a religious institution, school, or community.
For this project, I will be building a 43' x 4' bluestone path at Trinity Episcopal Church in Concord in late August and early September. The path will lead from the church's main parking lot to the Parish Hall. The current asphalt is poorly routed and prone to flooding, and is rarely used. Oftentimes, a desire path is formed on the grass as a result of the impractical trajectory of the current path. Building this bluestone path would solve these problems, and would look much better.
As this is a fairly big project, it is consequently an expensive one. I will need your help footing the bill for 172 square feet of bluestone, 87 cubic feet of paver base material, renting an asphalt saw, renting a compactor, and some other smaller expenses. The total cost will be approximately $2,600.
Any and all donations are helpful to my project and are immensely appreciated, and any and all leftover funds will be donated to Trinity Episcopal Church. Thank you in advance for your support!
