Locust Street Rooftop Solar Project

What We Do:
Glass City Community Solar is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Toledo, Ohio dedicated to installing and managing solar electricity arrays to provide energy for low and middle-income community members. In addition, we educate local community members about renewable energy and environmental sustainability.

Our Project:
We have already raised $25,000 toward our goal of $70,000 to install a 50-kilowatt solar array on a low-income apartment building at 629 Locust street in Toledo, Ohio. We need your help to raise the remaining $45,000 to achieve this goal and bring solar to these members of our community. Over 30-years the solar array will generate over $175,000 in reduced energy costs for the building.

Where The Funds Will Go:
All of the funds raised by this campaign will go directly towards the construction materials and labor needed to install this solar array on the Locust Street Building.

Who This Will Benefit:
The low-income residents and the Toledo community will benefit from the generation of carbon-free, non-polluting electricity from the sun!

All donations are tax-deductible
