Loch's Getting Top Surgery!

My name is Loch (they/them) and I will be getting top surgery! I am 20 years old and identify under the trans umbrella, meaning I have been born in the wrong body. Currently, I have size 34H breasts, and not only have they caused me many back problems (including a stress fracture and fusion of two of my vertebrae) but they cause me great gender dysphoria.

Last year, I moved out of my abusive household and began working full time in order to support myself and my girlfriend, whom I live with. I hope to re-attend college in the fall after being off for the past year due to my need to separate myself from my family. Because of moving, I am now able to get the medical support I have been wanting since I was 14. 

I am getting surgery at the end of the month and will be recovering for 6 weeks. I work as a horse trainer and my recovery insists upon not handling the horses out of safety, and so the funds will be used to help cover the cost of surgery and the extra expenses that will come from it as I will not be able to resume my usual job. Not having the financial support that I typically would from working would push my education for another year and risk my mental health due to the strain. Any and all support that you are able to give is greatly appreciated. I hope that I can not only spread awareness of standing up for yourself, trans visibility, lgbtqia++ rights, and mental health but also inspiring younger generations of all backgrounds to pursue a life that will make them happy.
