Support Widow of 3, husband killed

A local taxi driver was shot and killed in his home driveway Sunday, June 11th, 2017. Mustashizur Rahman was a hard working man and also the sole provider for his family. He leaves behind his wife, and three kids. Rahman was beginning to live the American dream, having his own taxi business, purchased a home, and building a legacy for his sons. The family does not know of a motive for anyone to do this, or a reason why their father was killed.

"My dad was a good man...I don't know why someone would kill him for no reason. What was the motive? What did they accomplish? They didn't accomplish anything," said Rahman's son.

Rahman and his family moved to Bakersfield from Bangladesh 20 years ago. Family say Rahman owned a local taxi company. The family is struggling to comprehend why this happened.

"Why did they take to him? Now we don't have anybody. Who will take care of my three children? Who'll take care of me? It's not right...My children -- they don't have a father now," said Rahman's wife.
