VFW Post 4745 Cliffwood Beach financial crisis-cvd

Your local VFW in Cliffwood Beach is calling out to our local Bayshore
community for assistance amid our
severe financial hardship due to the         Covid crisis.

VFW Guadalcanal Post 4745 located at
699 Cliffwood Ave, Cliffwood Beach/Keyport NJ 07735 has been a staple in the community serving veterans and residents in need since the early 1950’s. We are a 501 non-profit organization, but the continuing costs to maintain our building have become overwhelming, as the doors to our small canteen and hall were forced to close in March amongst regulatory requirements. Our VFW hosts several functions for local ill veterans feeding them at a large Holiday party and providing them with special hats and shirts made in America only and taking them to the Lakewood Blue claws games. We support veteran’s families in need, at time of passing, and always assist each year with scholarships and prizes for local students. A ceremony can be seen in front of our post, with members paying homage to our great flag each Memorial and Veteran’s Day as we never forget our fallen brothers/sisters, all the while keeping our local active veterans, all whom served in time of war/conflict, a friendly and warm place to be with each other.    
 
It is now a time were we ask you, our family, our friends, our neighbors and all those who love our veterans for your small financial support. The VFW Post 4745 greatly needs your monetary donation in any affordable amount possible. Help us keep our building standing. Help us continue over 68 years of local community service and help us save the commitment we make to support our veterans and their families.  Please help save our VFW!
