Local Officer Lost Everything In House Fire

On the evening of July 1st, Officer Rotarius's dog woke him up, alerting him that a fire had broken out in his home. His home was struck by lightning and the fire was spreading quickly. He was able to escape the fire but suffered burns to many parts of his body. He had to be airlifted to ORMC where he is still under observation for severe smoke inhalation. Unfortunately, Officer Rotarius has lost all of his belongings and will also have go through a long physical healing process. He has dedicated himself and his career to serving his community and keeping the members of his community safe. We ask that in return we try to help him during this difficult time. Officer Rotarius has been a part of the local Police Department for 8 years. He has dedicated himself to playing an active role in the community by being an SRO at the local elementary school. Officer Rotarius is also a part of the SWAT team. All funds will be used to rebuilding his life.
