Local Meals for Frontline Workers (SW Florida)

My name is Ross Costa and I am an air traffic controller in the Fort Myers, FL area.  Several of us local air traffic controllers from the National Air Traffic Controller’s Association (NATCA) have joined together to create a local fund to support frontline workers in the Southwest Florida area.  Currently, our focus is on providing meals to ER and ICU staff that are dealing with COVID-19 patients.  This is our way of saying thank you to the unsung heroes in our local community, who have been battling on the frontlines day in and day out dealing with the current pandemic. 

In addition to the frontline workers, this is also an opportunity to highlight local businesses who have seen economic hardship as a result of the current pandemic.  We will be using this fund to purchase food from our local restaurants and deliver it to local hospitals in order to provide economic support and highlight businesses that need our help during this crucial time.  This is a perfect opportunity to say thank you to the frontline workers while boosting our local business community.  Any donation will be greatly appreciated.
