Local Hurricane Harvey Relief

Organized by the El Campo Church of Christ and Wharton County community members to aid in immediate relief efforts for the local victims of Hurricane Harvey. So many people have expressed a desire to donate to a local group rather than a larger organization where your gift may get lost before it makes it to our local people in need.

Your dollars will be used to provide supplies to the many helping hands who are ready to go into action and help their neighbors as soon as the waters recede. We are working with a network of volunteers to assist our neighbors, whether it be cleaning out homes, providing meals, setting up temporary housing, or whatever the greatest need at the moment may be.

Because the economy of our area revolves around agriculture to a great degree, many of our volunteers will also be helping the livestock tragically devastated and displaced through the hurricane.

Many of the volunteers we are working with are the very people who have been out rescuing others while losing their own homes and livelihood. They are going to need us to stand by them and help when the water goes down, just as they have helped others.

A leadership committee will distribute the funds immediately where they can do the most good. You can be CERTAIN that 100% of donations will go to meeting the needs of others in this local area.

Many people are desperately wanting to help others, or see the need and just don’t know how to help. Join us as we pool our resources and manpower to rebuild our community better than ever.

The organizer for this online page (Cat Neumayr of Boling, Texas) is a member of El Campo Church of Christ. These funds will be withdrawn and passed directly into the hands of the elders of El Campo Church of Christ who will use it to buy supplies as listed above in the second and third paragraphs.
