LMU Climate Refugee Initiatives

We are a group of LMU students dedicated to raising awareness of the climate refugee crisis. Our project is part of the UN's Millennium Fellowship, a semester-long leadership development program in which fellows are trained in social impact and complete a project surrounding one of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Climate Refugee Initiative surrounds SDG #13, climate action. This semester, we will be educating our peers about the climate refugee crisis. We'll also be raising money for the Environment Justice foundation's Project Climate Refugees project. Our goal is to meet our goal by the end of November and we'll need your help.

We will be conducting outreach to LMU students, faculty, and alumni via social media and virtual programming to spread awareness about this issue and collect donations.
