Lloyd Dy Gregorio is a loving husband, protective father, great friend, and a serious hardworking cook. Bobby to his family and childhood friends, Lloyd is passionate about his cooking and enjoys practical shooting. He may be many things but he is undeniably a CANCER WARRIOR. 
The day before Christmas of 2015, he underwent a gastrointestinal screening due to stomach aches and immediately received the devastating news nobody wants to hear... stage 3 gastroesophageal cancer. Cancer runs in his family and he vowed to persevere. After aggressive chemotherapy and gastrectomy, he was in remission in August 2016.
In January 2017, he suffered headaches and they found a brain tumor, a metastasis of his previous cancer. He underwent surgery to remove the tumor and had radiation therapy. He received good news that he was cancer-free.
Lloyd was looking forward to going back to work as a cook assigned at Genentech in South San Francisco. He was excited to start cooking his Chef's specials, vegetarian dishes and his all day Wednesday Filipino cuisines again. He loves giving joy through his cooking.
Unfortunately, a routine PET scan in May 2017 showed a recurrence of his stomach cancer.
He recently started chemotherapy again but due to severe side effects, recovery is taking longer. His doctors forewarned him of a long and uncertain journey. This time Lloyd wants to consider other options... cancer immunology treatments, hyperthermic treatments, or clinical trials for a possible immunotherapy treatment that could hopefully give him better chances to defeat this monster. Perhaps, even needing to temporarily relocate to have the treatment.
These options come with significant monetary costs. After not being able to work for almost 2 years now, savings have been exhausted. This warrior and his family would greatly appreciate your help. Through each fight, Lloyd is humbled by the overwhelming prayers and support of his family, friends, co-workers, frequent customers, fellow cancer survivors and even strangers who have started praying for him after learning of his battles with cancer. Most of all, Lloyd is grateful for God's unceasing love and His gift of life.
