Llamaste Family Yoga Center Small Business Fund

Hello, everyone! 

Llamaste Family Yoga Center is a brand NEW yoga studio located in the Carroll Gardens/Red Hook districts of Brooklyn that just opened prior to the COVID-19 crisis. We are a family yoga center offering classes and social events for the whole family! Our goal is to bring families together through the practice of yoga in a fun, interactive, and unforgettable experience.

Prior the COVID-19 crisis we had only been open for three months and were on the verge of partnerships with local elementary and high schools, hosting Wine + Yoga nights for parents in the neighborhood, offering Sunday Yoga Brunch Club events for families on the weekend, and were about to launch an entirely NEW kids yoga program! 

Sadly, we had to lockdown and close the studio for over six months due to the COVID-19 outbreak. We severely struggled to compete with Youtube, by offering paid online yoga classes with our teachers teaching unequipped from their homes. 



We first opened the studio with very little time to make noise in the neighborhood and build strong relationships with local families and clients before COVID-19 hit. This caused a mass decrease in sales and support that was just building in the first place. Sadly, our annual budget is well surpassed and we are looking to our community to help us stay open! 

We are a staff of eight passionate yoga teachers looking to serve and support our community. With the COVID-19 travesty, we had to completely rethink our offerings by taking everything online, cutting staff hours, and eventually softly reopening with COVID-19 guidelines-but with a significant drop in bookings. Our hope is that we can unite with our community and get a second chance to open strong with your full support! 


Our current goal is the total sum of our annual loss since the outbreak of COVID-19. 

All donations will be met with a free product of your choice, including one of our signature Llamaste tanks or crop tops, mat bags, yoga towels, or a carrying strap.  Each donation will help us earn back our loss from the lockdown and small business repercussions of COVID-19.
