College Senior Needs your Help

Donation protected
Hi my name is Val and I am a Senior in my last semester at Grand Canyon University. I am an Operation Iraqi Freedon Veteran and I currently work in non-profit with teens and youth. I've been paying my way through college with my partial GI Bill and student loans. GCU is a very expensive school and getting into my degree I really didn't have a good grasp as to how these things work. As I was 30 years old and going to college for the first time. Due to a mistake in the financial aid office at school I was allowed to believe my last semester as an Educational Studies Major was paid for and I would graduate on time this spring in April. When I didn't receive my usual financial aid check, which I use to pay and supplement my living expenses during my time in school. I contacted the school three weeks into the semester, after the point in which you can drop classes and not pay. My financial aid advisor at that time told me, I had reached my aggregate loan amount from federal sources. To them I replied, "Why was I able to register and take classes then?" The advisor told me, "Your school is paid for, you have 100% of the GI Bill." Which is simply not true, despite my 6 years of exemplary service in the National Guard and 9 month deployment to Iraq the government only considers that enough service to receive 60% of school benefits. After almost four years dealing with my account they made this oversight. In addition, because my last semester is online (only classes that were available) the GI Bill only pays half of what I qualify for, for BAH (basic housing allowance). And that is how I came to find myself in the situation I am in, now asking for your help. I must pay over 3100 dollars before April 1 in order to graduate and not have the last four years of struggle and hard work be a complete waste. I have been denied for private loans and have no family that is in a position to help me. Please fund me, so I can continue to serve my community and country with a degree that will give me the opportunity to find advancement in the non-profit I plan on continuing to work for. Thanks so much for your time and support, Val.
