Lizzie’s Birthday Fundraiser

Dear Friends,

It’s my birthday (21st September), and I could do with a bit of financial support from people who are in a position to give.

With no expectations, I am putting this call out for donations to cover my expenses for a month so that I can go slow, pick up the pieces of my fragmented life, get back to creating beautiful things and see what the next step will be.

2022 has been a tricky one for me, and I am exhausted now, facing many uncertainties.

Floored by covid, the mental illness of someone close, separating from my partner (again!), then navigating single parenting with my kids not at full time school and most recently, my mother's death.

All of this has meant that it's been difficult for me to find the time or stability needed to develop my online courses ‘Film Medicine’ and 'Untold Stories' or to travel so that I could fall back on maternity nursing to make some quick cash, or to develop my portrait photography. I just can’t juggle child care, grief and intimate photo shoots this month.

Any money above my target would go towards therapy (talking, massage, nutritional, botox (joke)) and treats for my children.

All help is most gratefully appreciated.
