Wouldn’t it be nice to know that YOU can make a difference….

My friend Lizzi has been a breast cancer awareness champion and for over a year now she has raised awareness to all sexes. Her ‘ feel it on the first’ videos are charged with emotion and humour to get the message across, know you’re own bodies, any changes go and get it checked out as early as possible. Early detection saves lives!!

On 22 August 2019 aged just 29 years old and pregnant with her third child, Lizzi was diagnosed with Stage 2 - Grade 3 Breast Cancer. She had a mastectomy when she was 20 weeks pregnant and when the result came back the cancer had spread through her lymphatic system that it had been found in the lymph nodes. She also found out that the tumour had grown in size which was then surrounded in a further 5cm of pre cancerous. cells.

Lizzi started 4 months worth of chemotherapy treatment whilst 27 weeks pregnant and baby Violet Rose was born in January 2020 in-between cycles.

Over the months following Lizzi undergone 15 sessions of radiotherapy. Lizzi was a new mum, had a toddler and alittle girl at home she had to home school due to lockdown. This girl did it all, whilst documenting her journey on her social media pages, to raise awareness of cancer, she has inspired 1000’s of people to be proud of their bodies following the affects of cancer.

July 2021 - A day after her 31st Birthday Lizzi has found out the devastating news that her cancer has spread. Due to the global pandemic, human factors and extremely bad luck a shadow had been missed. It has metastasised into her spine and hip. She currently doesn’t know what her treatment looks like and she is waiting to under go a bone biopsy. However, she does know that the cancer is stage 4 and incurable.

I know a lot of you have followed Lizzi’s story and care greatly for her. We know Lizzi’s only priority is her family, especially her children, Ivy, Teddy and Violet, her fiancé Taylor, Mum, Dad, brothers.

Sadly no go fund me page can take away the fact my friend has stage 4 secondary breast cancer. But what it can do is help make precious memories for her and her beautiful family.
