<div>Liz is an active member of the Boston trans community, dedicating herself to bringing the community together whenever possible. She spends her time organizing monthly t4t events, doing harm reduction outreach work, and raising funds for other trans people via her leather-working business.

<div>Now, Liz needs her community to come together for her and help cover costs associated with upcoming gender affirming surgery. She began pursuing facial feminization surgery in 2020 and after insurance and surgeon based setbacks, has secured a tentative surgery date of November 2024.
</div>

<div>Without access to outside financial support or extended paid time off from work, all costs associated with surgery and recovery have fallen on Liz to handle herself. All funds raised will be used to cover surgeon fees and copays, living expenses for 3 weeks of post-op recovery, as well as help pay for other necessary gender affirming care.
