My mother was diagnosed last year with  afib (atrial fibrillation ) for a year we have been fighting to afford medication and take care of her health but now it has become “ chronic afib “ meaning the medicine is only able to help control how often she gets it , Atrial fibrillation (AFib) is a type of heart arrhythmia that causes the top chambers of your heart, the atria, to quiver and beat irregularly. AFib used to be described as chronic or Acute . My mother was diagnosed with chronic afib . Atrial fibrillation happens when the electrical signal becomes irregular and causes disorganized and rapid contractions of the atria. These abnormal atrial contractions may cause ineffective pumping of blood through the body. The only correction she can have for this is through an ablation surgery on her heart because the medication only REGULATES when it comes , when she is in afib she can die of a stroke or heart attack . What this ABLATION procedure does is  uses energy to make small scars in your heart tissue To stop abnormal electrical signals that move through your heart and cause an irregular heartbeat . Please help up in raising money for my mother and her illness  so that she can have this procedure done and be on the road to recovery , even a penny helps .
