Lizbet Flores, Our Beautiful Rose

Donation protected
This is on behalf of friends & co-workers of Lizbet Flores.

Lizbet Flores is a 23 year old young woman from East Los Angeles, CA. She graduated from UC Santa Barbara June 2015 with a BA in English. A couple of weeks after graduation she was hired at an Immigration Law firm in Downtown Los Angeles where she rapidly became an integral part of our team. Lizbet has brought so much laughter into our lives, has a beautiful heart, and is such a caring soul.  She cares so much about the immigrant community because she can relate to the fear many families have at this present time from being separated from their loved ones. She comes from a background of loving and hardworking parents. In the last couple of months she was very excited at the thought of studying and taking the LSAT in September 2017 to pursue law school. She is a person that stands up for what she believes is right, and we all have no doubt that one day she will make an incredible attorney.

This Father’s Day weekend Lizbet was on a work trip in Phoenix, Arizona from Friday to Sunday. Sunday morning everyone was waiting for her to have breakfast but she did not show. A manager and co-worker of ours went to look for her at her hotel room and she was found unconscious on the floor. She was immediately taken to the emergency room. Lizbet suffered a hemorrhage to her brain, which had to be drained. She also had complications with her lungs and has had trouble breathing on her own. Her father and mother were notified immediately, and had to travel to Arizona to be with their daughter. The doctors have yet to give a recovery time for Lizbet as they are continuously running tests. A brain surgery is currently being planned for next week.

Right now, Lizbet and her family need all the help we can give them. We humbly ask that you please donate to her cause, every dollar counts and will be appreciated. Lizbet is expected to stay under the Intensive Care Unit for approximately 4-6 weeks. Her parents cannot leave her by herself, which means they will be out of state, away from home, and unable to work. She is a strong and one of a kind young woman that has so much more to live for, and we believe God has a plan for her.

Please share this page with your family and friends. If you cannot donate anything, we would greatly appreciate if you donate your time and say a prayer for our Dear Liz.

Love,

Friends & Co-Workers of Lizbet Flores.
