Liz and Sean's Fire Recovery Fund
Donation protected
After renting for all of the nearly 18 years of marriage, in April of this year, Liz and Sean finally bought their own home. And not just any home, their dream home. A Craftsman home in beautiful Lake County, with windows and decks to enjoy the woods and the beautiful sunshine. On September 15th, their dream home burned to the ground, taking the lives of their two sweet cats and destroying all the photos, mementos and treasures that they had collected while raising their beautiful daughter Sabrina.
For those of you who know Liz and Sean, you already understand what giving, caring and amazing people they are. They are ALWAYS the first ones to volunteer to help. They are always there for everyone they know and even for those they don't know. With Sabrina just leaving for college a week ago, Sean continuing to have health problems and Liz only just learning of a surgery needed in the next few months, this loss could not have happened at a more difficult time.
We can't begin to soothe their grief over their lost four legged family members or even understand the enormity of their situation, but we can help raise some money so that when they find a place to begin rebuilding their lives, they can have a bed to sleep in, a table to eat at and chairs to sit in and also help ease the burden of some of their medical expenses.
No contribution is too small. You can help replace a set of dishes or an entire room, just know that whatever you give is unbelievably helpful and very much appreciated.
The idea for this fund was conceived by Liz's younger sister Julie and best friend Becky with Liz and Sean's permission and support. All proceeds go directly to their efforts to rebuild their life and health after this devastating fire.
