Liz's Birthday Fundraiser 2020!

Each year as I celebrate another successful trip around the sun, I raise money to support cats in need.  I am sad that I can't throw a fun party, but hope to host small groups in the backyard throughout the summer. The money I raise goes towards TNR (trap, neuter, return) of feral cats, vetting kittens like the ones pictured and medical expenses for sick and injured cats.

This year I have rescued 5 litters of kittens so far!  I also trapped a sweet, friendly cat from Chicago's North Austin neighborhood who needed one eye removed ($420), and pulled a cat from Chicago Animal Care & Control who needed a very specialized surgery for Eyelid Agenesis, a condition whereby the upper eyelid isn't formed ($4000!).

Many of the human clients I help are elderly, disabled and/or low-income and could never afford spay/neuter services themselves. Everyone's generosity helps me to help these people and cats throughout the year.
