On the early morning of August 5, 2021, Liz Gomez was in a horrific car accident, plummeting her in her car down a 100 foot embankment off of the 118 Freeway in Chatsworth, California. LA firefighters used a rope rescue system in order to free Liz from being trapped in the wreckage of the crash. Liz was then brought to the hospital in critical condition.

Liz was rushed into an emergency 12 hour surgery for her neck (internal decapitation), she pulled through the surgery which then followed the next day with another 6 hour surgery. Liz shattered her right arm in four places and has severe nerve damage to her left arm and both legs. She has shown so much strength and continues to fight while having no mobility from the neck down and with the vision of her left eye prognosis still unknown.

Liz is truly a living miracle. We all know Liz to be a strong willed, good-hearted and positive soul that always goes the extra mile to help anyone in need. She is a business woman and incredible mother to two young children that can’t wait to have their mommy back.

With a long road to recovery ahead, we have started this Go Fund Me page with the hope of alleviating some of the financial burden that comes along with this horrific accident. She is currently still in the hospital and is gradually being introduced into rehabilitation while still needing future surgeries. She is going to be in rehab for an estimated 4 to 6 months and once discharged will need continued help at home. With this comes so many expenses, from therapy costs, home modifications, medication, physical and psychological support, lost wages and regular day-to-day living expenses.
