We want you to know that Liz Clarke, whom most of you know from her years here with MERIT, has been devastated by a house fire which happened on 12/2/17
Her home and contents were destroyed by a very rapid moving electrical that began in the basement.
Liz and her people family are okay. Most of the animal family survived, but two cats did not.
Needless to say, it will be a long road as she rebuilds her life and her home. She has been overwhelmed by the care and concern of family, friends, community and strangers.
Luckily, she has very good homeowners' insurance coverage which will help in the months ahead, however anything to help with her family's immediate needs would undoubtedly be greatly appreciated.
