Liz and Darrel's Hurricane Relief

Liz, Darrel and Anna Mitchell had to be rescued by boat due to fast rising waters caused by Hurricane Harvey.  Days later they returned home to devastation.  Water rose very high and ruined their entire house and everything in it,  Upon inspection of the house, it has been determined that it must be demolished.  Liz and Darrel do not have flood insurance as they did not live in a flood area.

Darrel, along with his daughter, Anna, and other family members continued to go back back in and rescue other people in their community for several days.

This family has had their share of trials as four years ago, Liz was diagnosed with non-alcoholic liver disease.  She is on the transplant list awaiting a new liver.
