Lixe and Edwin

Hello,
I am raising money for my friend Lixie and her family who live in Costa Rica. Her husband Edwin finished a work contract gardening 6 months ago and has not been able to find work since. Lixie works hard to provide for her family but things would be a lot easier if Edwin could find work. Lixie also lives with her some of children, grandchildren and extended family who do not have a home to go to. I have known them for 7 years and they are such good and honest and hard working people. Edwin is 57 and still has lots of work years left but at his age he is not finding employment.
Edwin has been making furniture out of shipping pallets to help his family but has only hand tools and it takes a long time. If he had power tools and more tools in general he would be able to become a handy man and make more furniture to sell.
We found a power tool set online which will help him start his own business and provide for his family.
They also have extended family members living with them, still going to school, who they have been caring for like they were their own children. They have big hearts and need a little helping hand that will make a big financial difference to this family.
This is a couple of examples of things he has made with hand tools.
