<div>On 9th August 2025 (rescheduled from 20th July 2025 due to poor weather), I’ll be taking on a skydive to raise money for an incredible charity that is very close to my heart — CLAPA (Cleft Lip and Palate Association).

<div>My beautiful boy, Rio, was born with an incomplete unilateral cleft lip and an alveolar cleft (a cleft in his gum). We found out at our 20-week scan, and like any parent, hearing that news was very surprising, overwhelming and emotional. Within just a few days of our diagnosis, CLAPA reached out to us with open arms. They sent us special feeding bottles when we needed them most, provided so much information and guidance, and offer group support calls that made us feel less alone. They were there for us before Rio was even born — and they continue to be a huge part of our journey.

<div>CLAPA doesn’t just offer practical support; they also spread awareness, build communities, and advocate for every child and family affected by cleft conditions. They truly changed our experience from one of fear and uncertainty to one of hope, strength, and love.

<div>I’m jumping out of a plane (eek!) to raise money so CLAPA can continue helping families like ours. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly towards supporting parents at their most vulnerable moments and giving beautiful children like Rio the best start in life.
