Living Doc of BIPOC Experiences - Bay Area Theater

Donation protected
This campaign is to raise funds for Ely Sonny Orquiza, and for the maintenance and further development of the Living Document of BIPOC Experiences in the Bay Area Theater Community

The Living Document was created in hopes of building a more equitable, just, and anti-racist theater of tomorrow. The document will continue to gather first-hand testimonies from members of our community and serve as an alternative avenue for both BIPOC and Allied Artists to air grievances, and hold theater companies accountable. A community portal / webpage is underway and will be made public in due time and an evolving 12-page equity check list is being crafted, built, and shaped in collaboration with local, regional, and national teams of BIPOC coalitions. Organizational partnerships are being established as well to form virtual conventions for BIPOC and Allied Affinity spaces for processing and healing in response to the Living Document, and community-organized Action Plans for Accountability.

More information on the Living Document can be found here .
