Unfortunately the gift of life comes with a hefty price tag these days...but it also comes with a head of beautiful curls and an always smiling face. Many of you have had the privilege of meeting Faith Webb AKA " The strongest person I know".
Faith is 11 years old and has spent many of those years in hospitals, Ronald McDonald Houses and awaiting her next surgery. But through it all Faith has had a positive attitude and is one of the sweetest, silliest, spunkiest little girls I know!
Faith and her family, Mom (Aimee), Dad (Daniel), older sister (Danielle) and little sister (Ava) are Loudoun County residents. Her dad works for Loudoun County Public Schools, they are a one income family due to Faith's medical needs. They are incredibly prideful and private people who have never taken the many offers for fundraisers until now.
Faith is in need of several MAJOR surgeries in the next few months, on top of continuing her dialysis. Last week she had a huge surgery to remove her artificial bladder, as it has been proven to cause cancer. They also removed both of her kidneys during this same surgery, in preparation for her next surgery...Her second kidney transplant in 5 years. This will be the next surgery, which is scheduled in Early December.
Faith and her family are in dire need of help to get them through this incredibly hard and expensive journey. Even after insurance covers much of their medical expenses, there are transportation expenses, so her family can visit her in Cincinnati, the care for her sisters while dads at work and mom is in Ohio with Faith, and everyday expenses for a family of 5 on a VERY limited budget. All of these expenses add up to an overwhelming financial burden, in an already overwhelming and stressful time. Please help this beautiful family get through this! Any little bit you can give adds up!
