30 Hour Live Stream
We are hosting a 30 hour live stream to help raise money for Makiyla-Rose's situation.
We will be streaming from 12pm Saturday 15th April to 6pm Sunday 16th.
We will be hosting entertainment, interviews and general sillyness in the name of charity!
100% of the takings will be donated to the family.
The Mothers Story :
"My daughter Makiyla-Rose is a 4 year old girl with multiple medical conditions, but so far is undiagnosed.... she has no muscle tone, is unable to sit up or even hold her own head, she will never do this! She is on 24/7 oxygen to help her breathe, she requires daily suction, she is nil by mouth so fed by a tube, she has epilepsy, this causes her to stop breathing during a seizure. She is also registered blind.. despite all of her problems she continues to smile and everyone who meets her falls in love with her.
My beautiful girl is now too heavy for me to carry up and down stairs, in and out of a bath etc, so we applied to the council for a downstairs bedroom and bathroom for her... they drew up a plan that took away all of my living room and would have left my daughter in a bedroom with no window, no natural light at all (a child that can only see light) and she would be stuck in her room all of the time as the family space would have been taken away....I could not accept this for her, it would be cruel. An architect drew a fabulous plan for her with double doors into the garden, and a decent sized bathroom attatched... the council told me I had to find my own builders as I didn't accept their plans... I have done this and the quotes come back a lot higher than expected.... Makiyla-Rose is entitled to £30,000 for adaptions as a disabled person... the quotes have come back at £18,000 more than this! All I want is a bedroom and a bathroom for my little girl, that she can access with ease, with the right hoisting equipment, a bath (that she's loves) and a window for light and fresh air that every human deserves so I can continue to look after her like she should be! I'm asking for nothing more than this little girl deserves.... please donate if you can to make a little girls life that is already extremely limited in every way everyday just that little bit easier and more comfortable. "
