I am a good friend of Tommy and Kristin Weaver.  I have absolutely no words to explain this unimaginable loss.  Here is a post from Tommy about his beautiful son, Austin Thomas Weaver.  Please consider donating to the family during this difficult time.

"November 30th, 2019..... Kristin and I cried as we held our baby boy for the 1st time. As parents we started to dream of what a perfect life would be for him. Things like family vacations, building a new home for him to play in, teach him how to play sports, and what teams to root for. The dream was becoming a reality.
January 1st, 2021.....at 10:40 a.m., Austin Thomas Weaver took his last breath while lying in our arms.
Without warning, the dream has now become our worst nightmare. What we thought was a small infection caused a stroke which caused swelling in the brain that the doctors couldn't control. Which lead to them telling us there was nothing else they could do for him. At one point in the last year I thought maybe we post too many pics of our son and didn't want to be that dad, but now I wish I had posted more. Every time the comments were he is the cutest boy ever, his helmet is awesome, his smile is so cute, OMG his laugh, look at those blue eyes, he looks just like his daddy - a little Tommy. Now we just wish we could take one last selfie with him.
Thank you to everybody. The amount of texts, calls, and messages from family, friends, and complete strangers that we have never met before is overwhelming. The list goes on... from my strong Eastsiders, Kristin's St. Joseph's College Pumas, our old coworkers at Angie's List, our Forney Group team, and of course our families. The support in the last 36 hours was unbelievable. We can't thank you all enough.
All we can say is WHY? Why him? Why us? Unfortunately nobody has the answer. I'm not sure how many more tears we have left in us, but the rain outside is a sign that we arent the only ones crying. He truly was loved by so many.
Please hold your kids tight tonight and give them an extra squeeze. Do me a favor and be like Austin today. Laugh, giggle, smile, go at life 100MPH, and fight like hell when the time comes.
You fought so hard the last 36 hours and we are so proud of you. You gave it all you got. We are lucky to call you our son, always and forever. You'll always be Wrigley's lil bro, daddy's little buddy, and momma's boy.
Dream on baby Austin....Dream On!!!!"

Visitation Wednesday from 4-7pm
Funeral Mass Thursday at 11am
*Both services are at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Indianapolis.
Due to Covid restrictions you will be required to wear a mask. Visitation can hold up to 250 people at a time and 150 for the funeral mass. The church has offered a live stream of the funeral mass for anybody out of town or worried about COVID. So we are working on getting that set up as well.
Thank you for all the love and support. Kristin, I, and our families have been overwhelmed with the messages, thoughts, and prayers. We can't thank you all enough.
