Little Lion Leo's Vet Bill

Donation protected
Update°°°°° 5/23Update°°°°° Leo had his vet visit today where the vet said he is on all the right medication, that his right eye ruptured and his left eye needs to be removed but that he is to weak right now so to keep feeding and medicating until he is stronger and she will remove his eye. He has pneumonia and is dehydrated but that he looks like he will be okay, Leo will be a blind kitty but we will love him all the same. He has a checkup in 10 days and my older cat has a visit in 2 (we think leo aggravated a reapotory issue shes already had and she is wheezing horribly) thank you to Marie Baird for paying for Leo's pet visit today! I very much appriciate everyones help and support. Leo is doing better but he is still a far way from out of the woods yet and poor baby is in need of pain meds and a vet majorly. I am making progress towards taking him to a vet but was advised to let the antibiotics, drops and ointment work its magic and allow the swelling to come down before taking him to a vet. If anyone would like to suggest a good affordable vet please comment below but as of right now we just wait and see how tiny does. Fingers crossed Update°°°°° 5/22 °°°°° evening: He has been very active today eating a ton and meowing a lot more! he even pooped! so much better progress. I have come to the conclusion that his eye probably fell out in to my sink yesterday but that his left eye still might recover if we continue with positive progress. He got a nice warm bath today and is sleeping with 2 warm water bottles. I would love to get him to a vet soon so I can get him some pain meds because I know poor baby must be hurting something crazy. Thank you everyone for your support, donation and help I was and still am a little overwhelmed not anticipating finding a baby in such need of help when already being furloughed from work as is due to corona. Oh! also somewhere along the line today it was determined it was a for sure HE and that his name will be Leo the lion. So for now the little lion is looking much much better. °°°°°°morning: He made it through the night and ate a lot this morning (I am giving him watered down chicken gravy (prepackaged thingy) since I've never had a kitten this small I am unsure if he would still need milk or not. I called the Kilauea vet in Keaau, they had given us free medicine yesterday along with some donated other medication that seems to be helping him a lot but unfortunately they said they are completely booked for vet appointments until next month if not longer so I will have to look into some other vets to possibly take him too at a hopefully adorable price. My sister made this gofundme to help with vet cost we already have $180 donation and I've had a lot of people offer to help with the vet bill. I am not to sure what to expect with vet cost seeing as our first rescue never needed a vet (other then getting fixed with a free voucher) and our second was adopted and came fixed with shots. Update°°°°°5/21 THANK YOU ALL! within minutes I was offered free medicine from 3 different people and I very much appriciate it. I will take him to the vent when I'm sure he will make it. I dont have a lot of money being furloughed from work with the whole covid situation and was beyond panicked when I found this little guy. I couldn't let him die so I more then appreciate everyones love and support. Thank you Cierra! °°°°°°° I found this baby today and took him to the humane society and they said they did not have the time or the medicine to dedicate to him and that he might not make it anyway so that his best chance was for me to take him home since I could give him better attention. They said he has a upper respiratory infection and it cause discharge that got his eyes infected and they think he'll be blind. What do I do? I have him separated from my cats and I cleaned his eyes with saline solution and a warm cotton ball and he is meowing and purring. I want to make him better and I understand he will always be blind but step one right now is saving his life. Does anyone have advice or antibiotic wipes or medicine they would spare or sell cheap?
