LittleJohn Produce Box Project Fundraiser

Addressing food insecurity, access to approachable working environments, assistance for those left behind by the system, and accessibility to local fresh food at a low price are the important issues we are tackling every day. We are making a difference in our community and all along the supply chain.
By partnering with local restaurant providers, we are able to purchase restaurant quality produce at a low cost, and sell it to the consumers for around wholesale prices. This also allows the distributor to purchase from smaller farms, non commodity producers and higher quality products, while our restaurants are still recovering from the loss in business due to the pandemic.
We use as little plastic as possible when packaging our boxes, while still protecting the integrity and freshness of the produce.
Our carbon foot print is much lower than traditional online grocery box programs through use of less plastic, providing pick up locations, buying local, buying produce that may have otherwise gone to waste, donating unsold boxes, stocking community fridges, utilizing shared spaces, and composting/promoting composting to our customers.
Through sustaining sponsors, grants, customer purchases/donations we have been able to donate over 8,000 boxes of food to families in need throughout the Denver Metro area!
Customers can support by purchasing a balanced box, or a dozen eggs that directly goes to a family or individual in need. Anyone can come to our site and request a box, no questions asked. If you are hungry and need help we will get you food. We have the option for recipients to pickup or receive delivery, just like our paid customers.
We are actively fundraising! We are looking for more corporate, sustaining and private sponsors. Please spread the word.

Albeit slowly, we are confident we can expand our model nationally! We'd love to see LittleJohn Produce grow enough to help other communities outside of Denver.
