Help us get Janine to to Shriners Hospital!
Janine is 5 years old and is from Africa. In May, she fell into the cooking fire and both her hands were terribly burned. Her left hand became so infected that her father felt he had no choice but to remove it with a machete. These are the choices faced when a child has no access to healthcare.
Shriners Hospital in Cincinnati, one of the leading in the nation for burns, has agreed to treat Janine as a humanitarian case, but we need her in the U.S. immediately so her condition does not deteriorate.
My husband and I have arranged medical visas as a personal ministry for several children. Our contact is Pastor Enock, a pastor on my team through my work with Orphan Sunday (www.orphansunday.org) and he is coordinating this process with me and others. This money will be used here in the U.S. to purchase airline tickets for Janine, her mother and her translator to travel to the U.S, and their return. Thank you, Jodi Jackson Tucker, Durham, North Carolina.
