Tyler Shadley needs a Ride

Tyler may never walk, he may never drive, but with your help he can ride. He needs a ride now.
Tyler Shadley arrived in this world with brain damage. As a result he cannot see, he can’t communicate his needs, and he can’t walk. Tyler loves. He loves his Mom, Melissa, and Dad, Troy, and his brothers Chase and Hunter and all his teaches and therapists. He has a smile for everyone. Tyler works hard every day to gain some control over his muscles and his speech. He loves kindergarten.
Tyler’s Mom and Dad work hard to support their family. Troy is a carpenter and he was hit hard by the great recession. Melissa can’t work full time because Tyler needs her to take care of him. He is getting big and soon his Mom won’t be able to pick him up and put him in a car seat and carry him around. Because the van that Melissa drove was not wheelchair accessible, Tyler had to ride in a car seat and his wheelchair had to be left at school. The family prayed the van would last another year, but the old thing just could not go beyond 220,000 miles. It died and now Tyler needs a wheelchair accessible van. A van that allows him to have the use of his wheelchair all the time.
Several people in our small town are doing what we can to help. They have a short term loan of a car that ends on the 24th of September. The first Saturday of October a local restaurant will host a fund raising event but that is not enough. We hope to buy Tyler a van that will carry him through high school. Please Tyler Shadley needs a ride.
