LITTLE LAMP

Greetings, My name is Nongcebo Nsingwane. I am fundraising for a project called the Little Lamp. This comes after I realized there is a great shortage of wheelchairs in my home country Eswatini. Many people ages 4 to 12, 50 years and above and the disabled all need wheelchairs. However, they do not have them which makes their lives miserable since they cannot be mobile and hence cannot fend for themselves which means they will have to go to bed on an empty stomach. Also, there are only 5 people who can fix wheelchairs in the country. That means once a wheelchair is broken no one is there to fix the wheelchair then again the lives of those with broken wheelchairs are made hard and miserable. I am therefore raising funds to solve the above mentioned problem. It is very important to me that I carry out the Little Lamp project because I will be giving back to people in my country. I got a scholarship to study in Norway and I believe I have been helped to help others, in this case, I am in Norway now but I should still remember my people back home and try to help them in all ways possible.

What do I plan to spend the funds on?

1)A total of $690 will be used for buying the wheelchairs that will be donated, in Ackermans, South Africa where they cost 86 US$ per unit.

2)A total of $100 will be used for buying the parts needed to fix the wheelchairs for those wheelchairs we will fix for the public.

3)A total of $209 will be used to pay the tutor who will be teaching how to fix the wheelchairs.

4) A total of $87 This money will be used to fill petrol or pay for the car we will hire to collect the wheelchairs from the people in the communities and once their wheelchairs have been fixed, take them back to them.
