Little Joanna Needs Heart Surgery

Please support little Joanna and her mother Larissa through heart surgery, cancer surgery and recovery.

Our dear friend Larissa, Joanna’s Mom, is a wonderful human being and a tireless advocate who drops everything for those in need of support. She is an essential worker in the restaurant world who continued to work hard through the pandemic. That is who she is.

Recently, Larissa was met with news that no parent ever wants to hear: little Joanna needs to have heart surgery with a long recovery. Compounding this is news that Larissa must also have her own cancer-related surgery. She is a single mother facing several weeks worth of hospital bills and lost wages as she must be home to keep a close eye on her daughter.

Larissa did not ask for financial help and is instead working to raise funds by preparing and selling delicious meals during the weekends when she needs to be resting with her daughter.
