Little Fire 2023 Season
Hi! We are Little Fire Artist Collective, a Chicago-based dance project. We aim to support and serve as a much-needed incubator for freelance artists as they continue cultivating and exploring their “little fires.” Please join us as we embark on our 2023 season of dance-making. Your donation today will help bring our work to life!
Our 2023 season is our most ambitious season to date. Back by popular demand, Little Fire will present an evening performance for Chicagoland audiences in December. This performance will showcase a brand-new lineup of works and allow audiences to experience Little Fire up close and personal.
New this season, Little Fire is excited to announce an international engagement! In April, a group of Little Fire artists will be traveling to San José, Costa Rica, for a residency in collaboration with Jose Ventura and other local dancers. We will create, explore, teach classes, and perform new dances for local audiences. This residency will be a meaningful experience for all involved as we collaborate and exchange artistic ideas. Ultimately, we hope the Costa Rican artists we collaborate with will travel to Chicago to experience the contemporary dance scene in the United States. We can't wait for this magical exchange!
