Film on our brothers & sisters, the microorganisms

Donation protected

They are small, we cannot see them with the bare eye. But without them life would never have been possible:

Welcome to the world of the microorganisms, welcome to our documentary ‚Little Big Family’.

We, the Pegasus Family, have finished our documentaries ‘Citizen Animal’ on animals’ rights (festivals worldwide & several awards) and ‘Root Republic’ on the conscience of trees & plants and are now preparing ‘Little Big Family’. A documentary on and for our brothers & sisters who are microorganisms. We are traveling this beautiful planet, home to us all, to tell stories that raise awareness for the fact that all life on earth is our family.
An urgent necessity in these times, we believe.

Our interviews will lead us to Pranamá in Panamá who produce Kefir & Kombucha. To Colombia where we will meet Sandra Rangel, author of ‘Nuestros Amigos Invisibles’ (‚Our invisible friends’) and teacher of the Microbiome at the Health Educator Program at Hippocrates Health Institute in West Palm Beach.
We will examine the role of the ‚little ones’ in indigenous cosmology as well as in Greek mythology. But also their role in life evolution.
We will shed a light on the microbiom, the total of all microorganisms in and on our body. Which, as it seems, is more than 50% of us! Also, the sector of consciousness is of great importance as the collective consciousness of all these microorganisms is not separated from what we call our ‚mind’.
We will get into the ritual of fermentation that is a very old tradition of human-bacteria cooperation. And we will find out about the EMO (effective microorganisms, the so-called ‚good bacteria’).
And we will present the beauty of these lifeforms as it encounters us through a microscope.

Why are we creating this film? Well, life is about symbiosis, always. And maybe the most valuable symbiosis we humans are into is with the microorganisms. Our film will raise respect for this fact and thus open our eyes for the importance of this cooperation. Which will result in more awareness in our daily life: for what we eat. How we treat our digestion system (in which around 5 kilograms of bacteria are living!!) and how go about with antibiotica.

‚Little Big Family’ – as also our previous docs – will be presented online FOR FREE by the end of 2019! We think that everybody should be able to see this film to be conscious about the importance of the microorganisms.

We need the budget to finance necessary travels, a sound studio for post-production and editing the film.
