R.I.P Archie- forever 3 weeks old

Hey, my name is Tanika and I recently gave birth to our second little boy at 30 weeks gestation via emergency c section. 

Little Archie was born at 9.22am on 6/01/2021; after 24 hours of abnormal ctgs and decelerations of the heart. He was born weighing 1.27kgs and need to be put on a ventilator to help his lungs with breathing. 

We were waiting for results on the cvs we did the day prior to archies unexpected arrival. We have the results back and he has been diagnosed with T21. 

Along with the T21 diagnosis, we informed that he has 2 holes in his heart and a duct that’s not working how it should be. As well as the possibility of him developing leukaemia as his WCC is elevated.  We were also informed last night that he’s liver isn’t working as it should be and the doctors are artificially making it work at the present moment. 

We are fundraising to get some financial support while I have to stay in brisbane for 4-6 weeks with Archie. Jack my husband has to go back to work in the next week or so and will be 3 and a half hours away from Archie and I. We also have an 11 month old at home, that we need to be able to support as well and not up set his routine of day care and normality. 

If we don’t raise any money that is okay, we will make things work out some how.  But any bit can help while we are stuck in this hard situation.
