Little 1.5 year old Phoenix needs medical care

Hi I’m Tahlia mum to two little kids 4 and 1.5.

Our littlest is a heart kid Phoenix. He has been through a lot in his short life and has been through so many procedures and attends hours of therapy each week.

He has enlargement in his Aorta and Pulmonary arteries, Hypotonia, Areflexia, global developmental delay, has complex sensory processing, he is also not verbal at this point, he has just had a procedure to check for genetic conditions and metabolic disorders. He has spent many days in hospitals and suffered from septicaemia at just 10 weeks of age.

being a heart kid oral health is extra important as it directly links to heart health. His teeth have come through broken and discoloured and has been diagnosed with enamel Hyperplasia and chalky-crumbly teeth. And will need to have these repaired as soon as possible to save them. If we wait to long the will need to be pulled out. At the moment there are 10 teeth that need full crowns and 4-8 may need a protective coating. the public wait list is over 1year wait for consult and his teeth don’t have that long left in them.
