My beautiful sister Beth and her family need your prayers, love and help at a very difficult time in their lives.  Beth endured an 18 hour surgery 13 years ago to remove 2 massive brain tumors. The recovery was long and hard. She has suffered over a decade of maintenance procedures, equilibrium, hearing, swallowing, and vision issues. As she painstakingly waited for the results of her routine 2 year MRI, we all held our breath that the unthinkable wouldn't be a result. She wasn’t so lucky this time. Her tumor has regrown and is pressing on her carotid artery. She has seen a surgeon, oncology radiologist, a vocal cord doctor, a geneticist, and a neuro ophthalmologist within a 10 day time frame. 

UPDATE: The doctors have decided surgery and radiation would be too much. They are going to try radiation and hope that stops the brain tumor from growing. If it doesn't they will then consider surgery. We are going to keep our fingers crossed and say a lot of prayers. Beth and Mark with spend approximately 2 months in Philadelphia while Beth has daily radiation treatments. It will probably be another month before we are sure of treatment plan and when!
