Lisey's Fight Against Cancer

My name is Emilie Schiff and my younger sister Lisey has been battling metastatic breast cancer since 2010. She was diagnosed immediately following the birth of her youngest child, Ryeder. She had a single mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation. We were hoping that was it. Unfortunately, her cancer metastasized to her brain in 2014. After successful brain surgery and radiation, she beat it again. Two months ago, she found out the cancer was back. It has now metastasized to her bones, blood and adrenal glands. Her cancer is being treated for maintenance, in the hopes it does not continue to spread, but it cannot be eradicated. She has been in and out of the hospital with further complications for the past two weeks.

We are asking for your support for several reasons. First, so that Lisey may have her husband Jason home with her and spend as much time with her family as possible. Second, for help with daily chores, and child care for her two children, Reve (8) and Ryeder (5). Third, with the extensive treatment she needs, the family is forced to travel long distances for treatment and care. Hotel stays and travel expenses are adding up. 

We hope to raise the funds in the next two months, so we can help her family in some small way to make this extremely difficult time a little bit easier. My sister is 34 years old, and has fought and beaten cancer more times than anyone should have to. She is the strongest, bravest, and kindest person I know. She is an amazing mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend. She makes everyone around her want to be a better person. She has been my best friend for a long time, and there is very little we can do right now, to help her. I am asking for your help, in alleviating a small part of this burden.
