Hello wonderful family and friends! Thanks so much for your support in what will go down as the most challenging year of my life. As many of you know, I have faced serious, ongoing health issues for a number of years. It’s been a struggle, but I’ve battled every left turn life has given me so far, with the kicker being this summer when I spent a month in an induced coma, and barely made it out alive.

Since being released from the hospital, I’ve learned how to walk again, talk again, and found many a way to style the new scar on my neck thanks to a tracheotomy that had to be put in temporarily. I’ve slowly started to go back to work, and get caught up on the bills that have been piling at my door because of my health emergencies.

The latest predicament was unforeseen. I was in a car accident in early December, which totaled my car, and wound me up in the hospital once again. As much as it is not my nature, I am asking for help during this difficult time.

The funds I’m raising will go toward recouping some of the losses that came from my long stay in the hospital and during my long recovery. In addition, they will go toward purchasing a modest reliable car to keep me working and continuing on a journey to good health throughout the winter. ANY little amount helps and that which is extra will go towards ongoing health care and for her to help support her communirty of musicians, artists, community givers and keep us all going when we fall short.
