Lisa's Summer Hospital Vacation

One week ago my mom, Lisa Chapman, went in for a rountine outpatient kidney stone removal.  She was suppose to be home that afternoon.  In the recovery room she spiked an fever and became septic in a matter of hours. She was soon in septic shock.  After spending a couple days the ICU at our local hospital she was transported to the ICU at St.John's in Tulsa.  She was in respitory distress at that point.  Upon arrival in Tulsa she was placed in an induced coma and intubated.  The sepsis was under control, but she was now dealing with Acute Respitory Distress Syndrome as a result of herbody fighting the sepsis. 
7/13 they were able to extubate her and she began waking up. 
7/14 she is awake and responding to commands and TALKING! 
During this week my father has stayed by her side the entire time!  Though that's a testimate to true love, he hasn't been to work all week.  No work=No money.  They will have astronomical hospital bills on top of the neccessary bills to keep this house running! 
Let's rally together and get my momma home!
