Lisa's Fighting Breast Cancer

Unfortunatley, for her 48th birthday, Lisa began picking out head scarves and preparing for chemo. The pains had started in February. By late spring she had found a lump, and by the second week of July she found herself notifying loved ones, and picking out head scarves in preparation for the first round of chemo. By the third week of July the fight was on.
She named the tumors Mickey...
The text books refer to it as "ductal carcinoma", but Lisa named them "Mickey". That's the name she gave to the three tumors that have been reprioritizing her time this last month or so. She named them Mickey because their size, shape, and orientation look like an ill-intentioned Mickey Mouse.
Now the treatments...
She's about a month into a year long process of chemo, surgery and radiation treatments. The usual suspects have done what they do; nausea, hair loss, cramping, loss of sleep, varying degrees of pain, loss of appetite, along with varying other side effects and this is where the gofundme campaign comes into play.
Staying the course(s)...
Between the treatments and the side affects Lisa's left weakened, compromised, and sick. Any donations will help her and her family immeasurably to help with supplementing wages, covering very expensive copays, several medications she takes daily, and stocking up on proper nutrition…etc. We're hoping that with a little help from our friends, family, and gofundme donations, Lisa will be able to cover all the unforeseen expenses, as she battles the fight ahead of her and focuses on getting well and annihilating Mickey!
