I want to live... Can you help me?

My name is Betty Donley.  I am writing you in regards what Macy's Corporation is doing to my sister Lisa Khan.

She is a current employee in the Asset Protections Dept. at store 370 in Lynwood, Wa.

Let me explain...

My sister worked at the Lynwood location. She commuted 5 hours every day to and from work. While she worked at Macy's she paid out of her paychecks into an account for Short Term Disability in case she ever got hurt or sick.

March 22, 2017 she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Double Hit Lymphoma. Which is a rare and deadly form of the disease. She began an extreme Chemotherapy regimen that has her hospitalized for one week a month.

Since her diagnosis she has been denied the Short Term Disability Pay that came out of her paychecks. Due to that denial, she had no income and Macy's Corporation had no check to take her medical premium out of. Because of this, she has now had her Medical Coverage terminated and this termination is retroactive to March 18, her last day of work. This woman is dying! How can this company do such a thing?

Most recently she received a Certified Letter from Macy's Denying her Extended Leave of Absence. Essentially saying that if she didnt get up out of her Hospital bed and go back to work, she would be fired... for having Cancer!

Macy's Department Stores carry Breast Cancer Awareness merchandise. If they are in fact a supporter of the fight against Cancer, how can this company do such a thing to one of its own employees?

My sister has lost everything and is near to losing hope of survival. She is hospitalized and extremely sick from the week long R-EPOCH Chemotherapy treatments. She is unable to help herself at this time and what she needs is food, money to help her pay for her bills, to keep her phone on so she can stay in contact and let us know if something is wrong, She has been getting letters from collection agencies because Macys took her income away and she is unable to pay on her credit cards. Also because of Macy's she can no longer afford her car payments so she will be surrendering her car to the car lot soon.  There is more, if you message my facebook I will answer any and all inquiries.

The fact of the matter is that even though she is Terminally Ill, she still has financial responsibilities that she is literally incapable of handling.

I am asking you to please help me right this wrong. This is such an awful thing to see my big sister go through.

Lisa Donley is Stong, Smart, Beautiful, and resilient. She is a light in this world that should have the chance to go on burning bright.

She has two children Starleena and Mathew.

and four Grandbabies that she is praying for a chance to watch grow up.

I am her youngest sibling. I look up to Lisa, and to be honest I just cannot imagine my life without her in it. I am helpless, and scared for her, but I believe that if we all get behind her on this and help her get through this mess her Employer has created, she can survive.

I am fighting for my sisters life here. I hope you understand the extremity and are willing to help.

Looking forward to hearing back from you

Sincerely

Betty Donley

Keep praying for my sister Lisa Donley, and her children Leena Marie, and Mathew Blood. This is a family that is worthy of the gift of life.
