Lisa's Fight with Stage 4 Breast Cancer

On December 3, 2018 one of my best friends, Lisa Marie Mendoza was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. She is an extraordinary woman and is very strong. Since then, she has had a double mastectomy and three rounds of chemotherapy.
We found out recently that the tumors remaining had grown nearly three times their original size and the cancer had metastasized into her bones. She is now Stage 4. This is devastating news. She is only 49 years old. She has four children and five grandchildren.
She will begin radiation on a daily basis for six weeks, next week followed by a fourth round of chemotherapy, followed by immunotherapy. Her treatment plan consists of traveling approximately fifty miles daily for several months.
Her temporary disability income has run out. She has applied for permanent disability, but it could take months to be approved. She cannot work due to the side effects of the cancer treatments.
Because she was the main financial provider of the household she is in dire need of financial assistance. Specifically, gas money, rent, utilities, insurance, car registration and food. Lisa is worthy of this Go Fund Me page.
