In May, 2020, amidst the COVID nightmare, Lisa Rae Skalicky was diagnosed with Grade 4 Bladder cancer with spread to her lungs and liver. This lively lady has been hit hard with illness and chemo treatments and needs our prayers, love and support. Al and Bri are attending to the Queen bee, but need a little extra support to manage this crazy new medical world of co-pays and expensive drugs and treatment.
Lisa and Al travel at least once a week to Mayo Clinic for treatments and appointments.
Lisa Rae has always been an adventurer and this is no exception! Let’s all help her (Alan and Brianna) travel this nightmare of cancer through prayers, positive energies & money!
Our Saviors Moravian Church is hosting a drive-through Chili supper: Chili (our famous “blood drive chili”), cornbread muffin and chocolate chip bar for $10. Saturday, October 3, from 4-6pm. Depending on the weather and Lisa Rae’s health, she may be able to wave hello to all who come.
Donations will be accepted there as well.
