Lisa May Proctor battles cancer

Lisa May Proctor is a 55 year old proud Oshawa woman, battling breast cancer. Lisa is a single Mother.
Lisa has had her left breast removed and started chemotherapy July 17th and the chemo has already been taking a tole on her health. Lisa has 3 more chemo treatments scheduled, one every 3 weeks for a total of 12 weeks in chemotherapy treatment.
Following the chemotherapy is 5 weeks of radiation, 5 days a week for 5 weeks.
Later comes reconstruction surgery, 5 years of hormones and the ongoing side effects from all of the treatments.
Lisa’s Oncologist has written her off work for the next year to enable her to focus on recovery. Frankly, already she has not been well enough to work.
Lisa has a limited Benefit Plan and does not have a Long Term Disablitily Plan. The Government will approve a 17 Week claim for Sick & Accident Pay which is 55% of Lisa's wages (less taxes).
Lisa's 17 week claim will have run out just in time for radiation treatments.
Lisa has participated since 2007 in fundraising for Run for The Cure.
Now Lisa needs our help.
We are looking for donations to help Lisa with her living expenses. When able to, Lisa promises to pay forward any kindness that comes her way.
