The thought came to me as I drove home from the hospital - I've lost my hubbie, my home, and my Harley; it's been a tough week. Hurricane Irma took my husband, my home, and all but a few personal items.

Lee & I were married 12 years. We survived everything together except this storm.
We survived the raging floodwaters & got to higher ground; spent the second half of the storm all night long on the concrete floor of a neighbors second story screened in porch. The howling wind slowed, the waters receded and we headed home to begin again but it was not to be. Lee took a turn Friday morning and died less than 24 hours later.

I've been surrounded in God's grace since Lee passed and watching miracles unfold before me has kept me standing tall. Folks have asked for a way to make donations to help me rebuild our home and my life. And so, to all you gracious people, sincere thanks.
