LISA HOLT - Hurricane Relief Fund

I've been watching the news to see the total devastation that hurricane Harvey unleashed on millions of people in Texas.  But after I watched the video that LISA HOLT uploaded to Facebook, a video showing the flooding in her home, and the total loss of just about all her possessions, it really hit home for me.  (Some of Lisa's photos are shown above)  I couldn't imagine going through what her and her family are enduring. 

As with many of Lisa's friends, I offered my "thoughts & prayers".  But I thought, at the end of the day, "thoughts & prayers" can only help to lift your spirits. That may help to carry you through the day, but as the saying goes, "It doesn't pay the bills".  So, I wanted to help my friend Lisa on a different level.  I hope that you can too.

Who I am?  I am Michael D'Alessio.  I am a friend of Lisa whom I've known for almost 50 years (when I attended grade school with her in Chicago).
Where am I from?  I am from the Chicago area.
How will the funds be spent?  The funds are to be used by Lisa to help her, and her family, rebuild their lives.
How will Lisa get the money? Lisa will receive 100% of the funds less the GoFundMe fees (which are automatically deducted).  She has access to the GoFundMe account so that she can directly transfer the funds from GoFundMe into her bank account.
