Hello, my name is Lynn Buckley. I am from Lufkin, Texas.
With the effects of Hurricane Harvey still striking many of our friends and neighbors, we want to encourage those who can, to look to your friends and family and do anything possible to help.
That brings us to why we are here today, our friend, colleague, and "Boss Lady" Lisa Dooley has suffered significant loss of personal property at her home (including her vehicle). She and Howie (her trusted sidekick) were forced to evacuate from the SouthWest area of Houston and stay with friends due to rising water. Afterward, she and her friends had to relocate to Columbus, TX where they have been for several days. After assessing total loss, then she will know if she is able to get into her home(where her renter's insurance will not cover her contents loss). Please donate monetarily, and we will set Lisa up as the beneficiary to withdraw the funds, allowing Lisa to get what she needs. She will use the funds to replace contents lost in her home such as clothing, kitchen supplies, food and furniture. If you are able to give to physical time, we will need help salvaging all possible from her home soon.
We want to help if at all possible because true charity should start at or close to home. Please help us in giving a hand up to a friend in need.
